What we collect

Account: your email address, password (stored hashed by our sign-in provider), handle and display name.

Broker link: your MT4/MT5 account number, server and broker name, plus the trades and balances read from that account. We use a read-only connection and cannot trade.

What you write: commitments, daily check-ins, journal notes, mentor applications and chart-read requests.

Chart screenshots you upload are sent to our AI provider to produce the read. We store the written result, not the image.

Payments: Stripe processes your card. CHEQ-IN never sees or stores your card number. We keep a record of your plan, its status and Stripe reference numbers.

Usage: counts of AI requests (to apply fair-use limits) and basic error logs.

Why we use it

To run your accountability record, calculate your Discipline Score, show you and (only if you choose) your mentor your progress, bill paid plans, prevent abuse and support you.

We do not sell your data and we do not use it for advertising.

Who sees it

Your public profile shows only what the profile page displays (handle, score and streak). Mentors see only the parts you switch on.

Service providers who process data for us: our hosting and database provider, our broker-connection provider, our AI provider, Stripe for payments and our email provider for account emails.

How long we keep it

We keep your data while your account is open. When you close your account we delete or anonymise it, except records we must keep for payments, tax, fraud prevention or legal reasons.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct, export or delete your data by emailing support@tradercheqin.com. You can change most details yourself in Settings.
